Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club

The Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club caters for all Japanese motorcycles over 15 years old, standard, modified, concours, or used everyday. Members enjoy contact with like minded enthusiasts, who restore and ride machinery from all Japanese motorcycle manufacturers, including those who are no longer producing motorcycles.

There are local and regional sections throughout the United Kingdom, so opportunities exist to meet up in all manner of situations. Events are organised throughout the year, both large and small.

The club agazine, "Tansha", is published six times a year.
Much more than a Newsletter, it contains a varied selection of Technical Articles, Restoration Features, News from around the Club, Show Reports, Members Letters & Bikes, Racing News, Touring Reports, etc. The quality of the publication gained world-wide recognition in October 2000, with the award of the Gold Medal at the International Automotive Media Conference, against entries from the likes of Jaguar, Mercedes Benz and Ford.... This was followed up by a Silver Medal for the August 2001 cover, and a Gold for the February 2002 cover... As a lasting source of valuable information, Binders are available to keep members copies in pristine condition.

In addition to the Magazine, members also receive an Advertising Supplement - frequently with more pages than "Tansha" itself, this eagerly awaited item, printed in black and white, contains details of literally thousands of bikes, spares and related items for sale or wanted. Also included are services by members for members - small quantity production, painting, polishing etc., Trade Advertisements, Local Section contact details and general information of a short lived nature.
